Working with a wide range of materials—from stone and wood to old maps and glass, wax and clay to books and binoculars—Scott Johnson produces sculptural installations that are meant to engage viewers in thought-provoking perceptual experiences.  His practice is threefold:  collection, architectural intervention, and experimentation.
